Any time I etch a plate, pick up a pencil, or place paint on a canvas I find an internal purpose fulfilled. Art was how I first explored the world around me and created meaning and context for my place in it. As I grew as an artist and an individual my interests narrowed into an intense focus on where I fit into the world as a young woman. This exploration is reflected in many of my works. I am always searching for new stories and narratives that help define and expand the definition of a woman’s place in the world.

I graduated from Augustana University in 2021 with a BA in Art and All-Grades Education. I have had an eclectic work history that includes art galleries, the Joslyn Art Museum, and the Omaha Children's Museum. I currently work as a children's librarian in a small town in Nebraska.
